BIO:

I am a mom and wife first, who loves life and all things beautiful, giving God the glory always. My formal education is in Media Arts and Public Relations from Butler University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science.

 

My fashion experience dates back to those college days, as I worked part-time jobs helping customers find looks that best suited him or her. Later, while working at the home office of a major clothing retailer, I learned the basic ins and outs of the fashion business - working primarily with the store operations team and the merchandise operations team, but occasionally brushing elbows with the enviable design team. I watched what they wore and admired their creativity. I began studying fashion by pouring over the magazines, reading the books and articles, and watching the TV shows.

 

A love of shopping and fashion turned into an understanding of the art. Before long an interest turned into a hobby as I began working various fashion events - styling looks, modeling, and working behind the scenes. During that time, I was able to work under and be mentored by Kathy Friend, a successful area image consultant. I have since been officially trained by Friend and became one of the foundation stylists of the Style and Image Institute, and have begun working as a certified style and image consultant in the Warsaw, Indiana area. I enjoy following fashion on the runways, and in the streets, and continually self-educating on what is current in the world of fashion and design. Additionally, writing and photography remain a big part of my life and I intend to integrate those things into my career as a fashion stylist.

 

SERVICES:

For the Individual:

*Initial Consultation (2 hours) - All aspects of one's personal style are defined, including body type assessment, color analysis, style personality assessment and personal fit/style advice based on the client's individual needs and/or concerns.

*Wardrobe Audit - Includes closet organization, wardrobe inventory and editing, and identification of wardrobe needs and shopping goals.

*Personal Shopping - A budget is developed based on a shopping list. Shopping can be done with you or for you.

*Shop Your Closet - Working within an established wardrobe, numerous complete looks are created and photographed and given to the client for quick and easy reference.

 

For Corporations & Organizations:

*Group Workshops - First impression and image workshops are available for small groups.*Fashion Events - Fashion show production and consultation services are available.

*Speaking Engagements & Fund Raisers - Services can be discussed based on client needs.

*CSIC Training - For those considering Certified Style and Image Consultant training, referrals can be made.
